Delivery

COVID-19 UPDATE

We are experiencing a high volume of orders and will get your delivery to you as soon as possible, once your order has been prepared we will contact you via either telephone or email.

Our drivers will deliver to safe place observing social distancing measures, we ask that you also respect this when our drivers arrive.

Heavy Items

For all concrete fencing products, YOU must have 2 able-bodied people available to unload yourself, our driver will let you know he has arrived and return to the cab of the vehicle to allow you to unload the products yourself. If you are unable to unload them the products will be returned to the yard and the product price will be refunded.

All deliveries are to the curbside only, assistance is required for all deliveries that are carried on to site at the discretion  of P M Dickson Timber, and is at the customers own risk, all deliveries are generally made within 72 hours of order and will be booked in by telephone, this delivery time scale is a guideline and not a guarantee please contact us directly to confirm, in all cases, a signature is required on delivery of goods

You can get a quote for delivery by adding your product to the shopping basket and entering your post code.

ANY DISTANCE OVER 20 MILE WILL NOT BE QUOTED

 

Cancellation and Returns 

 

 

RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 DAYS without giving a reason.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us PM Dickson Timber Ltd: Nab Hill Farm, Buttersyke Bar, Harrogate. HG3 1JE. Tel: 01423 872337. Email: info@pmdtimber.co.uk of your decision to cancel this contract by a CLEAR STATEMENT (e.g. sending a letter or an email). 

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the ‘right to cancel’ BEFORE the cancellation period has expired.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including costs of delivery.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for the loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by YOU.

We will make reimbursement without delay, and not later than; 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or… o (If earlier)

14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or….  If there were no goods supplied,

14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the SAME MEANS OF PAYMENT AS YOU USED for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event,you will not incur fees as a result of reimbursement.

RETURNING GOODS 

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Timber cut to length, special made gates, fences and buildings cannot be returned unless faulty 

You will to have bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

If by their nature, you are unable to return the goods, we will arrange collection at a cost not exceeding £50+vat
